Larry Dean Guinn, 63, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at his residence. He was a native of Carter County.
Dean was employed at Presnell Motors for several years. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sue Carden Guinn, and a sister, Tammy Hamby.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Janice Dishman Guinn; two sons, Michael L. Clow and wife Deborah, Bristol, and Larry Shannon Guinn, Elizabethton; two daughters, Tracie Diane Carver and Nancy Greenwell, both of Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Brittany and Mason Carver, Skylar Cole and Justice Proffitt; several great-grandchildren; his father, Carl Guinn, Elizabethton; a sister, Teresa Guinn, Elizabethton; a brother, Rick Guinn, Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Elizabeth Click.
Funeral services for Larry Dean Guinn will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Alan King officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Mike Clow, Rick Guinn, Kevin Alexis, Ron Anderson, Larry Dishman and Larry Shannon Guinn.
