Edna Louise Fair Johnson

Edna Louise Fair Johnson, 82, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late James Slagle and Hildred Pauline Nidiffer Fair.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. She was a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Byrl Johnson, who passed away September 12, 1995; a sister, Emma Lou Houk; and two brothers, Edward Eugene Fair and Perry Fair.
Survivors include four children, Judy M. Campbell and husband David, Ted D. Johnson and wife Gail, Mildred L. Loveless and husband Bobby and Joe D. Johnson and wife Lois; four grandchildren, Robert Campbell and wife Jarilyn, Misty A. Branch and husband Joshua, Amy E. Huskins and husband Brent and Crystal G. Durbin and husband Randy; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Cox and husband Paul and Janice Stout and husband Earl, all of Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service for Edna Louise Fair Johnson will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, in the Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Johnson and the Rev. Tommy Collins officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be Kenny, Kenneth and Robert Campbell, Josh Branch, Paul Cox Jr., Randy Durbin and Brent Huskins. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of a daughter, Mildred Loveless, 116 Jefferson Lane, Elizabethton.
