Alvin M. Burrell, of Watauga, TN, passed away on Feb. 11, 2017, in Johnson City. He attended River of Life Baptist Church in Piney Flats, and worked as a terminal manager for Fredrickson Trucking in Johnson City. He is the son of Homer and Julia Burrell who preceded him in death, along with his brothers, Junior, Eddie and Robert, and his sister, Blanche Clark.

Mr. Burrell is survived by his wife, Nancy, his brother, Jerry Burrell, and 3 sisters, Alice Eckenrod (and her husband, Jim), Helen Sircey, and Julia Lunceford (and her husband, Fred), his daughter, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at 7:00 pm, at the River of Life Baptist Church in Piney Flats, with Pastor Donnie Humphrey officiating.
