R. Dean Parlier, 73, of Elizabethton, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. He was the son of the late Robert Earl and Lucille Gentry Parlier.
Mr. Parlier retired from Pet Dairy as a delivery driver and was a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church, but attended Lynn Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Tim Parlier and wife Sharron, of Elizabethton; a daughter, Tracy Hinkle and husband Gary, of Elizabethton; two sisters, Dorothy Parlier and Connie Grindstaff; three grandchildren, Amanda, Scotty and Taylor; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Eddie, Tommy and his ex-wife, Jean.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, December 29, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton.
