EPD seeks public’s help to identify suspect

Investigators with the Elizabethton Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a case involving the theft of lottery tickets.
On Monday, Oct. 31, a female subject entered a local convenience store and stole assorted lottery tickets while the cashier was working in another area of the store, EPD Capt. Joy Shoun said. Shortly after the theft occurred, the same female subject redeemed some of the stolen lottery tickets at a convenience store in Johnson City.
The female was described as being approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and was operating a silver Hyundai Elantra at the time of the theft.
