Tracy Michelle Campbell Pierce, 38, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 18, 2016, at her residence. Born February 7, 1978 in Johnson City, she had lived her entire life in Elizabethton.
Tracy was a 1996 graduate of Unaka High School and attended Ashworth College. She had previously worked at Wal-Mart and her last employment was was a Medical Office Assistant at Family Eye Center. She was founder of the RA Tray Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group. She was a member of Moores Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Richard Pierce; two children, Alexis “Lexy” Pierce and Mason Pierce; her parents, Gene and Brenda Campbell, Elizabethton; her brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Christy Campbell, Elizabethton; her paternal grandmother, Anna Mae Campbell, and maternal grandparents, Martin and Verdie Mae Pierce, all of Elizabethton; a special niece and nephew, Courtney and Marcus Campbell; several aunts, uncles and cousins; a special friend, Michele Sherry, Staten Island, N.Y.; her mother-in-law, Faye Pierce, Elizabethton; her brother-in-law, Chuck Pierce, Piney Flats; and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Nave and husband Phillip and Stephanie Pierce, all of Elizabethton.
Funeral services for Tracy Michelle Campbell Pierce will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Phillips and the Rev. Bill Greer officiating. Music will be provided by Holly Church. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, in the Blevins Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, will be Brandon Shell, Jeremy Pierce, Justin Pierce, Phillip Nave, Josh Pierce, Eric Pierce, Mike Smith and Brian Pierce. Honorary pallbearers will be the 600 members of the RA Tray Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group and former co-workers of Wal-Mart. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
