Police Beats for 08/25/2016

• James Wilson, 33, 104 Midway Drive, Apt. B1, Elizabethton, was arrested Tuesday morning by Carter County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Derrick Hamm on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and vandalism. Officers also served Wilson with a summons charging him with simple assault.
•Markeus Largent, 31, 1357 Broad St., Elizabethton, was arrested Tuesday by CCSO Deputy David Tranbarger on warrants charging him with violation of probation and two counts of failure to appear.
• Eligha Hampton, 21, 149 Estep Hollow Road, Elizabethton, was arrested Tuesday by CCSO Deputy Nathaniel Swymer on a warrant charging him with a Schedule IV drug violation.
• Dustin Miller, 25, 126 Oakmont Drive, Elizabethton, was arrested Tuesday by Elizabethton Police Department Cpl. James Sexton on a warrant charging him with failure to appear.
• John Guinn, 40, 137 Dan Bowers Road, Elizabethton, was arrested Saturday by EPD Officer Eric Buck and charged with auto burglary and shoplifting.
• Austin Sheets, 23, 917 Pine Ridge Circle, Elizabethton, was issued a criminal summons on Tuesday by EPD Cpl James Sexton charging him with second offense driving on a revoked license, failure to exercise due care, violation of financial responsibility and leaving the scene of an accident.
• John Blankenship, 33, 917 Pine Ridge Circle, Elizabethton, was issued a criminal summons on Tuesday by EPD Officer Justin Pearce charging him with simple possession of Schedule III drugs.
