Grady Deloach

Grady Deloach, 77, of Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Pine Ridge Care Center after an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late James Alfred and Elizabeth Treadway Deloach.
Grady was a painter and carpenter. He loved his grandchildren, going fishing and riding his four-wheeler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Frances Grindstaff Deloach, who died April 19, 2003; a son, Lloyd Keith Deloach; two brothers, Carl and Jack Deloach; and two sisters, Ruby Loveless and Joyce Arnett.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Maxine Deloach, Elizabethton; a daughter and son-in-law, Lori Ann and Ronnie Yelton, Elizabethton; six grandchildren, Joey Solomon, Scotty Warren, Michael Deloach, Robbie Solomon, Ashley Warren and Cody Deloach; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Charlotte Walker of Ohio, Shirley Smith, Carolyn Jenkins and Judy Blackburn, all of Elizabethton; one brother, Jimmy Deloach, Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Grady Deloach will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, May 27, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Carl Grindstaff and the Rev. Paul Grindstaff officiating. Interment will follow in the Deloach Family Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Joey Solomon, Robbie Solomon, Elijah Solomon, Scotty Warren, Cody Deloach and Jason Russell. Honorary pallbearer will be Willard Loveless. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Pine Ridge Care Center.
