McArthur “Mack” Poole

McArthur “Mack” Poole, 74, of Butler, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 9, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center. Mack was born in Butler, Tenn., to the late Henry Clay and Ozie Black Poole. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Poole, James Poole and Gene Poole.
Mack retired as a lineman for the telephone company.
Those left to cherish his memory include three sisters, Nola Hodge and husband Ray, of Hampton, Idoma Garland and husband Harold and Rachel Rainbolt and husband Gene, all of Butler. Also surviving are 11 nieces and four nephews.
It was Mack’s wishes to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ICU Unit at Johnson City Medical Center, especially Joe Sommers, for the love and care given to Mack during his stay.
