Terrill Vaughn Ballard

Terrill Vaughn Ballard, 55, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born March 8, 1961 in North Platte, Neb., and had lived in Elizabethton for the past four years.
Terrill served in the United States Army for several years and was also a truck driver. He was a member of Johnson City Free Will Baptist Church.
Terrill was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Nancy Stillwell Ballard.
Survivors include his daughters, Melody Webb and husband Tracy, Elizabethton, Valeree Ballard, Hampton, and Christina Ballard, Edmonton, Ky.; four granddaughters and four grandsons; his father, Glen Ballard, Elizabethton; his brother, Monte Ballard, Edmonton, Ky.; and the mother of his children, Mala Wiggins.
Graveside services for Terrill Vaughn Ballard will be conducted at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Johnson officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Military Honors will be provided by the Carter County Honor Guard. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website at www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
