• Jeremy Cole, 34, 968 Old Railroad Grade Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Monday by Carter County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Michael Malone and charged with violation of an order of protection.
•James Swanger, 43, 132 Smith St., Elk Park, N.C., was arrested Tuesday by CCSO Deputy Mark McClain and charged with driving under the influence, second offense driving on a revoked license and violation of financial responsibility.
• Linda McConnell, 52, 514 Coolidge, Lavon, Texas, was arrested Monday by Elizabethton Police Department Officer David Johnson and charged with public intoxication.
• Allen Lawhern, 27, 201 W. Mill St., Elizabethton, was issued a criminal summons on Monday by EPD Sgt. Patrick White charging him with simple possession of Schedule VI drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
