Judy Kay Nidiffer

Judy Kay Nidiffer, 72, of Afton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, from Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville, following an extended illness. Judy was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Tam C. Bare and Willa Mae McMeans Bare. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Wilcox.
Judy was a former real estate agent and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed working puzzles and taking care of her dogs, “Dolly” and “Little Man.” She especially loved being with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Harolene Morelock and husband Bobby, and Bettina Heaton and fiancé Keith Church, all of Greeneville; and four grandchildren, Liz Honeycutt and fiancé Jason Payne, of Greeneville, Calvin Honeycutt and wife Tara, of Johnson City, Tiffany Stiles, of Pigeon Forge, and Anthony Robertson, of Georgia. Ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A private graveside service for Judy Kay Nidiffer will be conducted in the Chapel of the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dillard Sholes, Dr. Madeep Bakshi and Dr. William Scott. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Miami, FL 33134.
