William “Billy” Neumann, of Hampton, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. He was born in New Township, N.J.
Billy was a graduate of Hampton High School and was a construction worker. He loved to fish and hike. Since 1999 he was of the Christian Faith.
He is survived by his fiancée, Canaan Tigert, and his baby daughter, Willow Sophia Grace Neumann; parents, Matthew and Leah Cleveland Neumann; sisters, Michelle Neumann and Madison Neumann; niece, Hazeleigh Neumann; and maternal grandmother, Sherry Fannon.
There will be a memorial service for Billy at Southside Freewill Baptist Church on Saturday, April 2, at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to a fund that has been set up for his daughter Willow. Please use the Carter County Village Branch (543-9082); it is set up as the Willow Neumann Fund (Matthew Neumann).
