Warriors top Sullivan East, 5-2

From Staff ReportsBehind the arm of Justin Morefield, the Warriors defeated Sullivan East 5-2 to move their Three Rivers Conference record to 1-2.
Happy Valley is now 3-2 on the season.
Morefield worked for six innings, during which he struck out nine batters against one walk. The slinger allowed five hits on the night.
Playing the closer was Dustun Sams, who tossed for one inning. He closed things out with a strikeout and one walk.
The Warriors recorded four hits in the second before giving up one run to the Patriots in the third. Sullivan would recorded one more run in the sixth. The Warriors finished up scoring in seventh with one run.
Happy Valley’s top batter was Ty Hurley who went 2-of-4 while recording three RBIs. Bailey Conely also went 2-of-4.
