Michael Earl Honeycutt

Michael Earl Honeycutt, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A lifelong native of Elizabethton, he was the son of the late Earl Jason and Margaret Louise Largent Honeycutt.
Michael was a member of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church and a member of the Elizabethton Moose Club. He enjoyed mowing, fishing, sitting next to the riverbank and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandson, Lliam.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristin N. Honeycutt; grandson, Lliam Honeycutt; sister, Cynthia Louise Honeycutt; aunt, Shirlene Roberson; uncles, Eddie, Clarence, Earnest Largent and Billy Julian; special friends, Carl Anderson, Tracy Stroupe and her family; and several cousins.
A gathering of friends and family to honor Michael E. Honeycutt will be held on Wednesday, February, 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The River House, 192 River Road, Elizabethton. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 25, at Largent Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Tim “Truck” Roberson, Tommy Lynn Roberson, Andy Hyder, Jody Hathaway, Bobby Stevens and Nicholas Hughes. Honorary pallbearers are David Whaley and Carl Anderson.
