William Frank “Bill” Tolley

William Frank “Bill” Tolley, 54, Roan Mountain, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 13, 2016.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Miles and Emma Marie McKinney Tolley.
Bill was a 1979 graduate of Cloudland High School. He worked at Empire Furniture Company, Johnson City, for several years. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Rita Whitehead Tolley; two daughters, Bridget Stout and husband Andy and Samantha Tolley and fiancé Rusty Estep, all of Roan Mountain; four grandchildren, Coby Tolley, Kayden Stout, Dawson Stout and Noah Stout; three sisters, Helen Blevins and husband Bobby, Roan Mountain, Ruth Turbyfill and husband Lee, Newland, N.C., and Emily White and husband Jonah, Jonesborough; a brother, Miles Richard Tolley and wife Nancy, Roan Mountain; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Bobbie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, February 19, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John McCoury and the Rev. Dewayne Scbish officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, in the Johnson-Roan View Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, will be Travis, Kevin, Roger and Clifford Whitehead, Andy Stout, Rusty Estep and Darren Lacy. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Saturday.
