Kenneth Wayne Younce

Kenneth Wayne Younce went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at his residence. He was the son of the late Ed and Cozette Younce. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Wilson.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Jeroline; two daughters, Donna Ornduff and husband Dallas and Sonya Babb; four grandchildren, Brooke Turner, Shea Pugh, Jordan Hayton and Seth Babb. He also leaves behind six great-grandchildren, Andrew, Eden, Emmaline, Lane, Finley and Levi, who were the loves of his life; seven brothers, Joe and wife Kathy, Sonny and wife Connie, Ed and wife Faye, Jack and wife Ruth Anne, Lynual and wife Loi, and Bill and wife Shirley; and two sisters, Phyllis Tester and husband Jimmy and Joyce Rumley and husband Rusty. He will be greatly missed by his “McDonald Buddies.”
Kenneth was a trustee and musician at Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ and was a retired Constable for Carter County for many years. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel and had many friends.
The services will be conducted at Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ at 7 p.m. Sunday, January 31, under the direction of Pastor Donny Reagan. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., prior to the service. Music will be provided by singers of the church. Pallbearers will be the church trustees.
