Shirley Jean Hambrick Bowers, 67, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Virgie Hambrick.
Shirley was a 1967 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Blue Springs Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hambrick.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years:,Dairus Bowers; three children, Charles Bowers, Elizabethton, Derrick Bowers and wife Christina, Johnson City, and Natasha Rohloff and husband Ryan, Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Daniel, Ashton and Joshua; two sisters, Helen Smith, Knoxville, and Linda Broyles of Mississippi.
