“North Greene is a great team,” Unaka head coach Kenneth Chambers said. “They are well coached. We are just trying to get better at working as a team.
“I felt like we made a few bad decisions,” Chambers added. “They out hustled us on a few rebounds. We missed a few fouls shots, and they made a couple fouls shot. Other than that, I thought it was pretty even game.”
In the second period, the Lady Rangers started out with a 9-6 lead and led for the majority of the period, but like in the fourth quarter allowed the Lady Huskies to come back and tie things up. The teams headed to the locker rooms with the game knotted up at 24.
Katlyn Weaver led the Lady Rangers with 12, while Hannah Tipton brought in 10. Sarah Tipton closed out the game with eight.
