Terry Lee Hill

Terry Lee Hill, 67, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Herman and Christine Scalf Hill.
Mr. Hill worked for Feldspar Trucking in Spruce Pine, N.C. He was an avid Vols fan.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Stevens Hill; two daughters, Tammy Hill, Knoxville, and Tina Hill and husband, John Glover, Elizabethton; a son, Michael Hill and wife Brandie, Laurel Bloomery; two grandsons, Marcus Hill and wife Emma, Hampton, and Jacob Hill, Elizabethton; three great-grandchildren, Ashton, Parker and Paisley Hill; two brothers, Wayne Hill and wife Rose, Elizabethton, and Ronnie Hill, Elizabethton; and two sisters, Phyllis Simmons, Elizabethton, and Debbie Norris and husband Danny, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Hill will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Shane Waters officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Frank Eads. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 10, in the Stevens Cemetery, Hampton. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, will be Danny Norris, Robby Hill, Bruce Stevens, Brian Stevens, Chris Stevens and Jerry Dugger. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the 2700 ICU Unit and the Critical Care Doctors at Johnson City Medical Center, Pulmonary Associates and the entire nursing staff of Johnson City Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery.
