Margaret Campbell Arnold Bourne

Margaret Campbell Arnold Bourne, 84, of Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Holston Valley Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Earl Campbell and Mary Williams Campbell Perkins.
Mrs. Bourne attended Unaka High School. She was a retired employee of Texas Instruments. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She was a member of East Side Christian Church.
Mrs. Bourne was a lifetime member of the Carter County Crewettes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Boyd Arnold, who died August 2, 1991, and her second husband, Kenneth Bourne, who died June 1, 2007, and two brothers, Kenneth Campbell and Alfred Campbell.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Carol Markland, Elizabethton; two sons and their wives, Jerry and Elaine Arnold, Kingsport, and Terry and Linda Arnold, Johnson City; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; a sister and her husband, Cathy and Mike Frazier; a brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Betty Campbell; a step-daughter, Sharon Pierce, Elizabethton; a step-son and his wife, Dale and Ella Bourne, Elizabethton; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Margaret Campbell Arnold Bourne will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, November 23, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with John H. Smith and Don Brandon, ministers, officiating. Music will be by John Smith, soloist. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in the Caldwell Springs Cemetery following the service. Active pallbearers will be Danny Ward, Anthony Roberts, Benny Lyons, Richard Markland, Dean Montgomery and Kevin Arnold. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Carter County Rescue Squad, Carter County Crewettes, Jacob Arnold and Chance Markland. The family would like to send a “Special Thank You” to Dr. Chris Metzger, Dr. Keith Kramer and Dr. Louis Jordan; Chris Huffman, Allison Daugherty, Susan Oler and Angela Jarrett, all with the Holston Valley Medical Center, and the Carter County Rescue Squad.
