Shirley Dugger Williams, 63, of Elizabethton, succumbed to a hard battle with lung cancer, Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Shirley, affectionately known as Lula by her close friends, was loved by many. She was an employee of Snap-on Tools.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Ted Dugger.
Survivors include her mother, Julia “June” Dugger; her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Ginger Dugger; her nieces and nephews, Ashley and Nick Estep, Blake and Brandi Dugger; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Gracie, Levi, Cooper, Jackson and Ava.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, there will be no memorial service, but do not mourn for her. She surrendered her life to Christ and is now celebrating with no pain. Shirley donated her eyes so someone may be able to read, which was her passion.
The family wishes to thank a few who helped and visited diligently in her last days. Sincere thanks to Edward “Cowbell” and Roberta Campbell, Ned Burton, Chris Tidwell and the many friends at Snap-on Tools where she worked.
