Patricia Ann Graham “Pat” Lowe

Patricia Ann Graham “Pat” Lowe, 66, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born January 3, 1949 at home on Stoney Creek to the late William Earl and Pauline Shoun Graham. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hattie Ward Shoun and TN “Poly” Shoun, and her paternal grandparents, Dennie Rae Swift Graham Taylor and Theodore Roosevelt Graham of West Virginia. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Lynn Edward Graham and Ronald Earl Graham, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pat was a 1966 graduate of Unaka High School. She was a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Buladeen Citizens Club, where she had served as Secretary-Treasurer.
Survivors include her son, W. Shane “Sugar Bear” Lowe and wife Crystal; her grandson, Dylan Shane Lowe; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Nicole Lowe; her sisters, Brenda Graham Davis and husband Ernie and Kaye D. Graham Moody; her sisters-in-law, Hilda Street Graham and Carolyn Graham; her nephews, Kyle Lynn Davis and Emillie Lance and Scott Graham of Michigan; and her niece, Rachael Graham of Michigan. Many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and very special friends also survive.
Graveside services for Patricia “Pat” Lowe will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 8, in the Shoun Cemetery (off Jess Hurley Road, Highway 91), Elizabethton, with the Rev. Eric Heaton officiating. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Thursday, will be Gary Morrell, “Tank” Morrell, Charles Murray, Don Evans, Dylan Lowe, Beth Lowe, Jerry and Sherry Morrell and Tiny Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Cole, Ken Walters, Jerry Weaver, Walter Williams, Dean Williams, Willa Fars, Greg Hurley, Ronnie Hurley and Hazen Street. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Mountain States Hospice, the staff of Hillview Health Care Center and the many friends and neighbors who visited with her during her illness.
