Lynne M. Wilson, 78, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, at her residence.
A native of Washtenaw County, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Everret and Alma Sova Matteson.
Lynne moved to Elizabethton and later moved to Florida, where she received her LPN degree, returning to Elizabethton after 10 years. She loved to sew and paint. Lynne was a member of Hunter First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Carver, and four brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, LaVerna Grindstaff; four sons, Sheldon E. and wife Debra, Terry L. and Steven D. Carver, all of Elizabethton, and Douglas Carver, Lenoir, N.C.; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence. It was her wish to be cremated. Condolences may be sent to our website: www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
