Roxiedean A. Nave

Roxiedean A. Nave, 84, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Daniel Hudgin and Roxie Bell Horton Anderson and was born in San Marcos, Texas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Nave Sr.; an infant daughter, Toni Gale Nave; and a brother, Daniel Richard Anderson.
Mrs. Nave was retired from ITT and was a member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Jack W. Nave Jr.; a daughter, Linda Dean Bowers and her husband, Keith Bowers Sr., Elizabethton; three grandchildren, Keith Bowers Jr. and his wife, Tracy, Diana Bowers and her husband, Josh Hardin, and Paula Nave, all of Elizabethton; four great-grandchildren, Keith Bowers III, Allison Bowers, Isabelle Bowers and William Bowers, all of Elizabethton; and a special four-legged friend, Jake.
The service to honor the life of Mrs. Nave will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Jerry Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service, and at the home at other times. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, in the Old Horseshoe Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Keith Bowers Jr., Josh Hardin, Eugene Fortner, George Fortner, Jack Fortner and Ronnie Blevins. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the 2nd Floor Nursing Staff at Sycamore Shoals Hospital for the kindness shown to Mrs. Nave and the family.
