Charlotte Ingram

Charlotte Ingram of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015, peacefully at home in the hands of the Lord. She was a native of Durham, N.C. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Ingram was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Bristol College with a degree in Medical Science, a graduate in Nutrition from Thousand Oaks, Calif., and a graduate of Business School and Robert Fiance School of Hair Design, New York City.
She was preceded in death by her foster parents, Roy and Maggie Carlton of Durham, N.C., and two brothers, Jerry Rogers of High Point, N.C., and James Rogers of Thomasville, N.C.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James Ingram; three daughters, Cheryl Ingram, Greeneville, Tenn., Joy Watts, of the home, and Barbara Wilcox and husband Bill, Johnson City; four grandchildren, Justin McKinney, Jonesborough, Jessica Maskew and husband Joe, Kingsport, Lindsey Wilcox and Matthew Wilcox, Johnson City; two great-grandchildren, Levi and Boone Maskew, Kingsport; three sisters, Peggy Johnson, Thomasville, N.C., Judy Martin, High Point, N.C., and Shirley Dills, High Point, N.C.; and a brother, Richard Rogers, High Point, N.C.
The family would like to thank Amedisys for graciously taking care of our mother.
Mrs. Ingram requested that her body be donated to Quillen College of Medicine.
A private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
