To be the champ you have to beat the champ, and even with the homecourt advantage on Friday night Happy Valley came up short as the Lady Warriors hosted state champion Elizabethton at Bayless Gym.

Elizabethton remained unbeaten on the season and in the Three Rivers Conference with a 68-53 victory over Happy Valley.
