An early lead doesn’t count for much when your opponent gets a red hot shooting hand. On Wednesday evening at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse, Truett-McConnell College got hot from long range and upended Milligan College 78-72 in overtime in an Appalachian Athletic Conference tilt.

After a dramatic 70-69 victory over Union College on Monday, the Buffaloes (9-2 overall, 4-1 AAC) looked to take command of the conference with middle-of-the-pack Truett-McConnell coming in at 4-6 (2-2 AAC).
