Hampton boys, South Greene girls big favorites in Watauga Valley

GIRLS PREDICTIONS: 1. South Greene, 2. North Greene, 3. Cloudland, 4. Hampton, 5. Unaka, 6. University High.
There is a lot of uncertainty heading into the 2014-15 Watauga Valley Conference season, where the league, for the most part, was decimated by graduation losses. But there are two things that are certain: the Hampton boys and South Greene girls are overwhelming favorites to win the WVC crowns.
The Bulldogs and Lady Rebels have deep rosters and talent all over the floor and they are expected to not only win the Watauga Valley, but make noise in March.
Other than what looks to be a much improved Cloudland Highlander boys team, the rest of the Watauga Valley boys and girls teams were really affected by great players walking across the stage.
