Roy Lynn Kiser, 62, Watauga, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the residence of a sister, Betty Clark, Johnson City.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Roy C. and Helen Fagan Kiser.
Mr. Kiser was employed in Lawn Care and Tree Trimming. He was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Bobby, Billy and Frank Chapel, and three sisters, Shelby Kiser, Patricia Ashley and Ruth McLaughlin.
Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Hughes, Elizabethton; three brothers, Larry Kiser and wife Joan, Mike Kiser and wife Katie and Robert Kiser, all of Elizabethton; four sisters, Betty Clark and husband Ben, Johnson City, Kay Price and husband Larry and Melody Grindstaff, all of Elizabethton, and Karen Pearman and husband Joe, Watauga; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Ella Hughes. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services for Mr. Kiser will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 20, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steven Davis officiating.
