A hunter on a scouting trip reported his bow stolen from his truck to the Carter County Sheriff’s Department.
Arland Cody Honeycutt, Elizabethton, told Deputy Amanda Little on Monday he and a friend had been to Dennis Cove to scout hunting locations over the weekend.
According to the report Honeycutt said he left his bow, a Hoyt Carbon Spider Maxed Out, in its case in the truck and had locked the door.
When he returned to his truck around four hours later, he found the door unlocked and the bow and case missing. The bow was camouflage and the case was black.
