It wasn’t easy, but the Milligan Lady Buffaloes kept up a three-match winning streak while advancing to 8-3 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

In four games, the Buffs were able to vanquish the Montreat Cavaliers 3-1 Tuesday night at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse. Every game would come down to the wire as both teams would record 43 kills for the match.

“I’m real excited,” said Milligan head coach Doneva Bays. “A conference win is a conference win. We beat them a week ago at their place in three. It is a really quick turn around on seeing Montreat again. So it is always hard to play someone that close.”
