After the threat of inclement weather nearly put a damper on homecoming, Hampton made sure it didn’t rain on its parade.

Coby Jones scored four combined touchdowns and Jerry Lunsford added two more as the Bulldogs dominated North Greene en route to a 46-15 victory on Friday night at JC Campbell Stadium. The win moves Hampton to 5-1 on the season.

“We played pretty well,” Hampton head coach Mike Lunsford said. “We did a good job and ran the ball hard. This was the best job of blocking we did all year I think. They are not a bad football team, and we didn’t come close to having to punt and that’s impressive.”
