There was perfect football weather on Orr Field in Roan Mountain Thursday night as the Cloudland Junior Highlanders hosted Unaka. The Jr. Rangers also remained perfect by virtue of their 28-6 win.

“It was a well-played game on both sides,” said Unaka coach Donald Ensor, whose team improved to 8-0. “Cloudland is a tough and hard-hitting team; they really came after us. I am proud of our boys. Both teams have had a big turnaround from a year ago.”
