A tractor-trailer making deliveries to the new hangar at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport caused some minor damage Friday when it pulled down power lines on the airport property.
According to the Elizabethton Police Department, the truck was making a delivery shortly before 4 p.m. when it became entangled in a low power line. The line then fell across the truck.
The Elizabethton Fire Department and the Elizabethton Electric Department responded to the airport to take care of the energized power lines.
