Johnson County authorities seek help to find missing woman

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department would like to seek the public’s assistance in trying to locate a female that is being listed at this time as missing and possibly endangered.
Officer’s and Investigators with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department took a report on September 14th from an acquaintance of Peggy McMickle stating that he had not heard from her since Friday, September 12th which was unusual.
Peggy has family in Fries, Virginia which is located in Grayson County, Virginia and also family in New Mexico. However, her residence is in Johnson County, Tennessee.
Peggy Jeanne McMickle is described as being 50 years old, 5’5”, 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She would be driving a 1999 red or maroon Chevy Tracker with New Mexico registration of MXS237 that doesn’t expire until March of 2015. At one time she also had a Johnson County Tennessee registration on the vehicle that is now expired. That registration was J9373G.
