Last week Unaka High and the Stoney Creek community lost one of the “Ranger Faithfuls,” and maybe the most loyal fan the school’s athletic department has ever had.

“Big” John Taylor, who passed away last Wednesday, lived and breathed Unaka High athletics, serving as the team’s bus driver for many years.

Taylor was more than just the team bus driver. He was a huge supporter of the Rangers and his blood ran maroon and white.
