Arnold moving on after 34 years of coaching in Johnson County

After 34 years of coaching, Steve Arnold is ready to hop in his rocking chair and call it a career.
The longtime Johnson County golf coach who has also coached tennis at JCHS as well as several sports at the middle school level in Johnson County, is retiring at the end of the season after almost three decades of coaching golf and over three decades of coaching, all in Mountain City.
The Longhorns advanced to the region for the second straight season and the team is playing this year for him and has sent him out on a good note.
