The Elizabethton Twins saw the 2014 regular season close out with a 5-2 setback against the Kingsport Mets Friday afternoon.

With the conclusion of the regular season, the Appalachian League West Division champion Twins and the other three playoff teams will take Saturday off before the postseason starts Sunday. Elizabethton travels to Johnson City, the West division runner-up, for game one of the best-of-three series Sunday scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Games two and three, if necessary, will be Monday and Tuesday in Elizabethton.
