Juanita June Bogart, 77, 354 Rock House Road, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at her residence.
A native of Washington County, she was a daughter of the late Roy Lee and Maude Whaley White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bogart Jr.; a daughter, Linda Bogart; and three brothers, Jimmy, Joe and George White.
Mrs. Bogart was of the Christian Faith and a member of Green Pine Baptist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crafting, cooking and sitting on her front porch waving at all the neighbors.
Survivors include one son, Doug Bogart and wife Elaine, Johnson City; three daughters, Karen Burgin, Elizabethton, Debbie Bowers and Patty Livesay and husband Timothy “Rollo,” all of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Chad Bogart, Shaun Bowers, Jennifer Livingston and Jeremy Livingston and wife Kimberly; and three great-grandchildren, Joseph Michael Livingston, Andrew Isaiah Livingston and Madilynn Renea Livingston.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bogart will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Alan King and Rev. Terry Howell officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jeremy Livingston, Chad Bogart, Shaun Bowers, Greg Davis, Jason Hensley, Chris White, James Bowers and Greg Babb. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy “Rollo” Livesay, Sam “Mose” Phillips and Van Moody. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” for the loving care given to her by her caregivers, Beverly Bowers and Krystal Williamson. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
