Plants available at Cloudland High greenhouse

The Cloudland High School greenhouse is now open and offering flowers and vegetables for sale to the public.
Agriculture Education teacher Lauren Turbyfill said the greenhouse had hanging basket flowers as well as flowers to be potted into a planter or garden. Vegetables include tomatoes, peppers, cucumber squash, watermelon and others. The plants were all grown by students.
Potted flowers and vegetables range in price from 25 cents to $2. Hanging baskets are $8.
The greenhouse is open from 8 am.. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Turbyfill said the greenhouse would remain open on weekdays until the end of school or the plants were all sold.
