Elizabethton Fire Department celebrates graduation of two firemen

The City of Elizabethton Fire Department celebrated the graduation of two new rookie firemen from the Northeast Regional Fire Training Association, where all of the eastern Tennessee fire departments collectively facilitate the training.

Elizabethton’s fire department provides ladder training for all the rookies who were in this year’s class.

This academy is certified by the state of Tennessee.

Zachary Workman and Brayden Yates completed the 13 weeks of training and now are certified as firefighters by the state of Tennessee after they graduated Wednesday, April 30.
