Eula Florence Campbell

Eula Florence Campbell, age 91, of Elizabethton, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the Ivy Hall Nursing Home of Elizabethton. Eula was born in Elizabethton on May 31, 1933, to the late Nick and Eliza Jane Williams Bowers. In addition to her parents, Eula was also preceded in death by her husband, William Harold “Willie” Campbell; a granddaughter, Deborah Lynn Garland; a grandson, Bobby James Campbell Jr.; and two brothers, Harrison Bowers and Lloyd Wayne Bowers.

Eula retired as a cook at the Southern Restaurant and was a member of Willow Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed canning, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish and remember Eula include her daughters, Anna Sue (Bobby) Campbell of Sherrills Ford, N.C., Dolly Marie Human of Jonesborough, Virginia Ruth Gillman and Carolyn Jean Pritchard, both of Elizabethton; her sons, Willie Lee (Cissy) Campbell, Kenneth Howard (Judy) Campbell and Michael Ray (Susan) Campbell, all of Elizabethton, and Stevie Lynn Campbell of Johnson City; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Stevens and Betty June Bowers, both of Elizabethton; and three brothers, Robert Bowers, Shirley Bowers and Harold Bowers, all of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service to celebrate Eula’s life will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton with the Rev. Richard Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday.

The graveside service will follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Elizabethton. Active pallbearers will be Michael Ray Campbell, Josh Campbell, Kenneth Campbell, Nick Campbell, David Campbell, Devin Hatley, Logan Campbell and Donnie Hatley.
