The Elizabethton Elks Lodge No. 1847 has donated $2,500 to the West Carter County Volunteer Fire Department, which is in need of new turnout gear for firefighters. Officers of the Elks Club, along with several members, attended a meeting at the fire hall, where a check was presented to assist in the purchase.
