Anna Pierce, Hampton, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the Ivy Hall Nursing Home. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Gentry and Vina Vines Presnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Tony Pierce; and one brother, John Presnell. She was a graduate of Hampton High School.
Survivors include her children, Gary, Donna (Vinny) Reddy, and Lori; two grandchildren, Robyn Reddy, Johnson City, and Saghel Reddy, Tampa, Fla.; one brother, Howard Presnell, Elizabethton; and two sisters, Betty Cates (Ivy Hall) and Wanda (Roger) Garland, N.C.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Mr. Roger Garland officiating. Friends may register their presence at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in memory of Anna to Hampton Christian Church, 810 Deerfield Lane, Hampton, TN 37658 (Hampton Christian Church | Give).
