Police investigating early morning shooting at Downtown Square in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY — The Johnson City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning in the Downtown Square parking lot.

According to police, officers responded to a shots fired call at approximately 1:50 a.m. on April 13 at 150 W. State of Franklin Road. When officers arrived, they located a victim suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the finger and leg.

The Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and collected evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
