Roan Street Free Will
Jonathan Sams from North Carolina will preach Sunday, April 13, at both the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. services at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church.
Brother Jerry Stout will speak Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend.

First Christian
First Christian Church Elizabethton will have worship Sunday at 9:45 a.m. The current sermon series is titled “One at a Time,” with Minister Michael Klaus preaching.
Bible study for adults and classes for all ages are held Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Easter services at First Christian include a Mountain Sunrise Service at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, followed by a light breakfast at 9 a.m. A children and adult interactive egg hunt will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
Also, a Resurrection Sunday worship service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.
First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Avenue.

Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church will have a spaghetti lunch fundraiser Sunday, April 13, from noon until 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The menu will be spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. Takeouts will be available.
Donations are appreciated and will go to the Ladies Aid Ministry.
David Clark is minister.
The church is located at 1765 Highway 91, Stoney Creek.

Watauga Baptist Association
The spring meeting of the Watauga Association of Baptists will be held Thursday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at Little Doe Baptist Church, 325 Doe Creek, Butler.
The message will be presented by Don Winters, pastor of Sugar Grove Baptist Church.
All churches in the association are urged to have their messengers in attendance.
On May 4, the association will have a youth rally, “Be Found in Him,” at the Little Milligan Community Center, beginning at 6 p.m.
The Rev. Doug Harley will preach, and there will be special singing by Rachel Trusler.
All churches in Johnson and Carter counties are invited to this evening of worship.

Borderview Christian
“I Surrender All,” a musical that invites all who hear it to surrender everything to Jesus, will be presented at Borderview Christian Church on Good Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday, April 20, at 10:45 a.m.
Borderview Christian is located at 1338 Bristol Highway.
The public is invited to attend.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church will present “Calvary’s Lamb” at the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday.
On Easter Sunday, April 20, the public is invited to attend worship at 10:30 a.m., as well as a sunrise service at 7 a.m. at the Wilbur Dam Boat Ramp. Breakfast will be served following the service in the fellowship hall.
Also, an Easter egg hunt will be held on Good Friday, April 18, at 3 p.m. The event is open to the public for ages 1 through fifth grade. If it’s raining that day, the egg hunt will be held inside. Those planning to attend are asked to register for the event at https://elizabethtongrace.com/egg-hunt-registration.

First United Methodist
Holy Week services at First United Methodist Church will include a Palm Sunday service Sunday at 10 a.m.
The Maundy Thursday service will be held at 6 p.m. April 17 and will be a depiction of the Lord’s Supper along with communion, special music and worship.
A sunrise service will be held Easter Sunday, April 20, at 7 a.m., followed by the Easter worship service at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Robert Countiss, pastor, invites the public to attend.

First Baptist
First Baptist Church, Elizabethton, will join Trinity Methodist Church, which meets at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, on Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. for a Good Friday service.
Also, on Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m., First Baptist will host a reenactment of the Last Supper. “You will see some familiar faces as some of our own people will be transformed into Jesus’ early disciples,” said Pastor Todd Hallman.
Trinity Methodist will join First Baptist in hosting this special event.

Blue Springs Christian

An Easter sunrise service will be held Easter Sunday at 7 a.m. at Blue Springs Christian Church, with breakfast to follow in the fellowship hall.
The Easter Sunday service will be at 10:50 a.m., during which the youth of the church will present a skit.
The men’s monthly breakfast has been moved to the following Saturday, April 26, at 8:30 a.m.
All are invited.
