The first surgery in the state of Tennessee using the MISHA Knee System was performed by T. Lisle Whitman, M.D., board-certified orthopedic surgeon and practice president at Appalachian Orthopedics. This MISHA Knee System procedure works by implanting the device under the skin but outside the joint during a minimally invasive outpatient procedure.
