The Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter will host a special adoption event Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering community members the chance to find a new furry companion at a reduced cost.

During the event, all adoption fees will be lowered to $25. However, any animal that is not already spayed or neutered will require a veterinarian reference before adoption can be completed.

Adding to the festivities, the Easter Bunny will be on-site for photos with children, pets, and families. Visitors are encouraged to stop by for a fun-filled morning and make lasting memories while supporting the shelter’s mission.
