Elizabethton Police Department welcomes two new officers

Friday was a special morning for the Elizabethton Police Department as two officers officially were sworn in as part of the department.
City Clerk Preston Cobb presided over the swearing-in ceremony inside the City Council Chambers at Elizabethton City Hall.
Sworn in were Officer Frankie Morris of Elizabethton and Officer Jonah Buchanan from Bristol.
Elizabethton Police Chief Jason Shaw, as always, was pleased to welcome the two new officers to the department.
